After the debacle of
the 2009 Copenhagen Climate Conference the world has once again made one step closer to
the catastrophy. Apparently, the interests of the elite are so strong, that we cannot rely
on politics alone. The climate crisis goes much deeper than economics, though.
We have lost our soul and therefore
cling to "having". However, more "having" doesn't bring us our
happiness back. Actually, our entire culture is bankrupt. The breakdown has extended to
all levels of society. We have to therefore go back to the Origin in order to become
renewed.
A New World can only be created by New
People. For that we need New Teachers, ones who can show us an entirely New Way. Recently,
such a Teacher came forward. On the 6th of January he has solemny announced "The
Transformation" to the world. The core of his saving plan is called "Healing the
Planet in 7 Steps". (Quotation MeiMei Yu, MA)
The First Step includes A New
Spirituality
We present to you a new pilgrimage organization the European Green
Man and Wise Woman PilgrimNetWork.Because it represents something essentially new, we
consider it our responsibility to inform you in detail.
First, it is spiritual, interreligious, pluriform, open and
versatile. This corresponds with the attitude of modern people. From our experience in
2004 we learned, that even on the Camino de Santiago, about 80% of the pilgrims do not
limit itself to single religion, but is open to all spiritual ways.

experiences on the Camino"
Logically, the content of our program is different from the existing
ones. We try to meet the needs of the pilgrims. It's called "self-realization in the
broadest sense." Think about the search for identity, the desire for self-or God
experience, for a meaningful life, for a new relationship with nature, for love and other
fulfilling relationships, finally, renewing the world ...
Now you will say that this is true for the existing routes, as well,
but that is a purely individual thing. While our network is set up in such a way that the
pilgrims are constantly getting incentives from the outside, as well, making them able to
not only find themselves, but also extend their horizon. Think of the coming years, in
which the climate crisis is going to play an increasingly bigger role .....
Not only the end goal is important, but food for the soul on the
road, as well. To achieve this there has to be a constant resonance between within and
without. During the walk pilgrims thus meet signs, that are actually enriching the
"inner life". This objective is being embodied by the so-called "Green Men
and Wise Women".
These incentives can be found in and on churches, anywhere where
there are so-called Green Men and Wise Women sculptures. The encounter with archetypes
from the depth of your own soul - for that is what Green Men and Wise Women embody - is a
source of increasing self-discovery, joy and wholeness. Thereby enriching the relationship
with the environment.
Finally, our relationship to the Camino. Although I have expressed
myself at various places about the Camino, I have no intention to interfere. We have our
own network which is taking all our energy. Both lead across Europe. Where the two
meet, we can exchange, but that is about all
It will continue to enrich the Camino, because more people - also
those with non-Christian background - will be motivated to go to the Camino, as well. They
can contribute to an (even) more active dialogue, what in its turn leads to more
understanding between people. This is how I assess the situation: a complementary
cooperation.
I sincerely hope, that you can recognize yourself in our positive
attitude.....
Much pilgrim joy and who knows .... we meet again,
Cordially,
Han Marie Stiekema
